Discipline

AWANA clubbers are called to order by the use of the five count, which is similar to many other clubs, like scouting.

If a child is overly disruptive, he/she is put on the three count. This is an individual approach in which the child is given two warnings.

If there is a third offense the clubber is removed from the group activity and taken to be with the Club Commander who will contact his/her parents. As a disciplinary measure, the clubber will not be allowed to attend club the following Wednesday, but we do want that boy or girl to join us again after that one week absence if he/she can act appropriately during club.
